The Week-Long Advanced Retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza was an unforgettable experience. It was an immersion into a way of being - not merely a retreat, and possibly one of the most transformative weeks of my life.
Dr. Joe Dispenza is a best-selling author and neuroscientist. Combining the fields of quantum physics, neuroscience, brain chemistry, biology, and genetics, he helps people heal themselves and get beyond their subconscious programming. And basically, break the habit of being themselves.
Dr. Joe Dispenza believes that you can change your DNA by changing your brain waves. You do this through breathwork and meditation.
By altering your brainwaves, you can get into your autonomic nervous system, paving the way to rewiring your brain, reconditioning your body, and taking you beyond your current limitations and subconscious programming.
This rewiring of the brain can ultimately transform your genetic destiny.
Meditation
Meditation slows your brainwaves, taking them from your waking beta state to alpha and even theta states. This slowing of your brainwaves allows you to change how you feel, think, and act and ultimately alter your unconscious programming.
Through this new state of being, you can create a new reality and design a future aligned with your conscious intentions. This premise reminds me of the adage from the ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu who said, "To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders."
Become Aware
Most of our thoughts and actions are a result of programming from our past conditioning. We tend to rehearse negative past experiences which affect our current circumstances.
The way to change our circumstances is to become aware of our thoughts. And to pivot to a new way of thinking. One more aligned with the future we would like to create. The destiny we desire.
